LITTLE ETHIOPIA Cuisine in Zanzibar — Restaurant in Geneva

Concept is great... The Menu is varied (maybe too varied). Unfortunately could not try the food, two hours after our order, which included starters still no food! Finally after two long hours, during which servers nearly paid attention to us, we finally got plates, still no starters and a mix up in the order as one of the guest had to leave 1h30 after arriving and still not receiving food. The mix up on top of the 2hrs delay was a deal breaker for me. Left the place very upset.

Advice for the owner, quickly take drastic organizational measures, optimize servers work and seek experienced servers, maybe get help in the kitchen. Even if food may be good and original (at least on the menu) a disorganized restaurant will not retain the good crowd. Restaurants open and close everyday in Geneva. This one could have filled a gap in African cuisine but its far from meeting expectations.... I am African, and would like to support African businesses. Hope this place can improve to prove this review wrong.

PS: the cook was kind enough the have all the food packed so my friends who stayed behind could take it home free of charge as a compensation. The head waitress was very professional in taking orders, and explained the dishes super well. Heads up to her (lady with beautiful bicolor...

I promised my colleagues a genuine taste of African cuisine and Zanzibar delivered an unforgettable experience. We savored an array of authentic dishes, including the delightful chicken in coconut sauce, flavorful nyama Choma, succulent prawns, perfectly cooked rice, delicious plantains, and exquisite spinach. Every dish was an absolute delight and lived up to our expectations!

The service was impeccable. Our waiter was incredibly attentive, ensuring we had everything we needed and providing great recommendations. We found tis place by cooncidance. The service was absolutely great and so friendly. The food was different than usual food but was tasty. Starting with mango salad which was great. We tried the chicken with coconut which was tasty the only thing i didn't like about it was with bone. The bean curry was again tasty. Both was accompanied with cinnamon and cardamon rice and okra.
