Food quality is descent if not great (we have had much better tasting food else where too). But I still should say their food looks and tastes good and you can venture in to their place for this one reason.
However the price is exhorbitant. Might be swizz effect ? Well we shoud not complain on that. It is what it is. Just know it is expensive.
Whatever we ordered took a lot of time though we were the only ones there until the first 20 minutes though we requested them to help us with the dishes at the earliest (you will get what I am saying by knowing that the yogurt and plain rice which we had requested which took more more than 12 minutes for them to provide us). Though we were quiet hungry and kids were almost sleepy we patiently waited on the rest of the orders as we trusted that the dishes were being attented to.
It is only later we understood that they were attending to a lot of online orders and they did not even bother to greet (unlike how it is in Indian restaurants), nor bothered about providing us the food. They were too busy with their own stuff they probably forgot that a few of us were sitting there with hungry kids waiting.
More over they made a mistake on our invoice and we paid and were leaving which then we realized. When we asked about it and politely asked how could they make such an obvious mistake they were rude in saying it was our mistake instead and we must have been more responsible to check. Last thing you would want to here from one who offers food :-)
It was the only such unpleasant incident in our entire trip. We never had any issues anywhere else where the Eurpoeans...
Read moreThis is in accord with the review shared by Ms. Annie Supriya Pannikar. It was certainly an unpleasant experience to see how how one staff treats another (especially a Woman) & (especially in front of customers). Kindly note that during this unfortunate COVID times everyone is stressed, nevertheless it is not a reason to mistreat people.
When we arrived at the restaurant , we were not pleased by the seat suggested by the male staff, and we requested another table. The staff declined saying that those were reserved. Please bear in mind that we also did do a reservation. We were then placed at a ''Bar'' table/ stool. which was very uncomfortable. We basically had to squeeze ourselves just to have a bite.
When the food arrived, the plates were too big (in comparison to the food served). There was practically no space to place the dishes. The (male) staff had to basically clutter our table with serving plates. At one point we even had to empty the dishes in our plate to free some space so we could dine comfortably.
On a positive note the food tasted good and the decor is admirable. A thorough review needs to be done on food and customer relationship. We ordered the Chicken Madras which was practically sweet...
Read moreSo, to begin with 5 Stars ⭐ from me for this restaurant !! I have tried food from India again and it was really tasty and surprised me. According to this memory, I recommended to my wife to go eat Indian Food. Yesterday, the 28.02.22 we visited this Indian Street Kitchen Restaurant in Genéve ( Rue de Lausanne 29 1201). The environment was really friendly and comfortable. When the waiter brought our food, the dishes looked delicious!!! I couldn't wait unfortunately more, so that I could take a picture as well 😎 to share it with you, because we were really hungry... When I ate the first piece of chicken, I was truly amazed from the texture, the flavour and the quality of this dish..!!!! That was unbelievable what I had just given to eat..!!! I am not really good at writing down such stuff, but I really recommend you to go eat there to see for yourself what I mean ☺ . The Chef really knows what the secret for a...
