Disappointing - Meals Weren’t Served

My husband and I recently dined at Miski on a Saturday night. We had been excited to try this restaurant, and on this occassion, we arrived for our reservation as the first customers of the evening. The service started out well when we promptly received our menu, drinks and an (not recommended) appetizer. As the first customers of the evening, we didn’t think there’d be delays of the food brought out. Unfortunately, as other customers arrived, we seemingly became an afterthought. We ordered our meals and after an hour - after other later-arriving customers received their meals - we still hadn’t received ours.

After asking our server, we were assured our meals would come out next. Another 15-20 min passed, and we still hadn’t received our meals. I understand that sometimes things can get busy, but it was disappointing to see other patrons served before us without any explanation. Patience is truly a virtue and we typically exercise it with restaurants. But after over an hr waiting, we were left with no choice but to leave.

The ambiance was lovely, and the staff was friendly, but the service/food delivery was quite disappointing. I hope my next visit will be more efficient, as I really want to enjoy the food that I've heard great...

Rude staff member lady. I didn't wanted to be outside so she talked behind my back criticizing me in Spanish. I'm white but no luck for her, I understand Spanish.

Overpriced food. 3/4 dishes were ok but food you could easily do at home. Papas a la huancaina at CHF 8.- would largely sufficed as a price. The chaufa de res (forth dish) didn't taste like Peru, most like a bad Chinese fried rice dish. The beef was chewy. The dishes looked nothing like the website photos.

We were only three tables for the lunch service. They may look like they're a fancy restaurant but it's not.

Other unpleasant stuff happened but I will not detail everything. Not a good experience over all, looks like a good place for a kitchen nightmare episode. Would not recommend and will definitely...

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER! The single star I’m giving is only because food was ok, but the service is the WORST I’ve had in my life. The waiter/host/bar tender was rude and bad attitude with us Latinos, while with the swiss he was ok; when we asked for water he said there was only branded water bottles, while other tables had free water. When we asked for something he kept walking and could not even stopped to listen, and ridiculous he gave us at the end business cards to promote him... here is your promotion: if you are latino stay away!
