N'vY Bar — Restaurant in Geneva

We’ve been there today for a lunch. The reason of my 2 stars is the service. The bar was quite crowded and of course there was only one poor guy serving. He was very kind, but physically he couldn’t be everywhere. It is a biggest Geneva problem. They invest in place, kitchen, but not in staff. To get back to our hamburgers, have you ever had a cold hamburger? So, I can say it is not the best thing to have. I presume it remained long time at the kitchen, before being served. We said nothing, as we had waisted a lot of time, before we’ve been served. So we had to swallow our hamburger and go back to work. What to say? 40 CHF to have a cold...

This hotel bar has a nice vibe and the interior is fun, stylish and on point. Comfortable couches and chairs, a small but good selection of wines and a volume-level of music that is still acceptable without blowing your eardrums out like at so many supposedly 'cool' Geneva bars. Service is very slow though and you have to walk up to the bar most of the time to get any attention, so 'coordinate' your drinks! Prices are at normal Geneva-levels ( we apparently all have a company credit card or UN per diems...which is actually true for Geneva and creates a system of sad...

You can't get enough of a single visit.. Amazing state of the art ambiance, eye catching artistry interior, spacious meeting rooms, beautiful lunch/dinner areas..you can't go wrong on your fast date here.. definitely it will be a yes for you when you when you ask...
