Worst experience and very bad attitude from the reservation guy. We secured a table, placed our food order, and when my sister arrived with her kids, I offered them a slice of freshly arrived pizza while they were waiting for the next available table. As the adjacent table was settling their bill, we inquired about acquiring it. Unfortunately, the reservation guy accused me of tricking his table loudly, rudely kicked them out (she were leaving politely anyway), but he kept yelling at me saying I tricked his table and insisted we finish our meal immediately and leave. Despite my request for the check, he angrily asserted he wasn't the waiter. Enduring multiple insults while trying to order and settle the bill, it was a frustrating experience. The reservation guy lacked patience, courtesy, and service understanding. If I knew the owner, I'd recommend hiring someone else for a more pleasant customer experience (no wonder so many negative reviews are about him). The photo was taken by my daughter when he yelled “eat your food and go back to your country” pointing and shouting at me. We were definitely disappointed and never would go back.

Reply to the reservation guy: your waiter assigned me a table next to the entrance, also a passage. My children were well-mannered, you were telling me to pay more because we have 2 young kids sharing one seat which I said no problem. As you are handling reservations, it's crucial to respond to clients respectfully. The police mentioned you were stressed and acting aggressively and yelling during our meal was unacceptable. Many clients there looked at you and shaked their heads because you made a scene.

If you are unable to manage your temper you should not be in a restaurant, even your colleagues told us you are a chef, admitting you have a bad personality, while they were super nice even they were busy. Your restaurant is fully booked because of the location, it’s 31/12 and the welcoming waiters, but obviously many clients left and never came back because of your snobbish behaviour towards clients. Other days it’s empty because of you. Sooner or later you won’t be there if you continue insulting clients. How educated were you 😉 yelling loudly doesn’t mean you were right. p.s. I paid for my food without finishing them because my kids were scared of your uneducated attitude. I was trying to order a steak for my daughter because her soup never arrived but you yelled at me saying you are not the waiter, then why you came to our table? Or you should put a sign saying “I’m NOT a waiter I just walk to your table” then others know you are superior ok you ordered me to “eat your food and leave” so I asked for the check as you ruined our appetite; again, you yelled “I’m not the waiter! Go back to your country” with a rude hand gesture like this 🤌 ” yes I just wanted to pay and leave but there were no waiters around. You need to learn how to treat others with respect. You have issues, you need help. What a weird impulsive...

I came with my 3 colleagues to this place to try the famous Swish fondue. At the entrance we were warmly welcomed by David and although we didn’t have a reservation he was trying his best to accommodate our request in a busy day. We were excited to try their food, and since the table we got was a bit tiny for 4 people we asked if there was any other option. Our excitement. thou, got switched off by Micheal who told us that that day was fully booked and if we were not taking the table he could give it to someone else easily in the next 5 minutes. Slightly confused by the unnecessary rudeness he used with us, we still decided to stay. When we were giving our orders we got inspired by 2 ladies next to us who shared a fondue, so we wanted to do the same and start to try the classic fondue sharing it by 4, and then try other flavours if still hungry. However Michael told us that our table was a table for 4, hence we were supposed to order at least 4 dishes. We got speechless, eventually we told him that we were going to order more dishes later, but he insisted that the program they use is a little bit complicated and doesn’t accept this kind of order. At this point we felt that the hospitality in this place couldn’t be any less and, since it looked like our presence there was bothering this person we decided to leave. And never come...

I have been a regular customer at this restaurant for several years before it was closed due to a fire during COVID period.

My first new visit was on the first day it was reopened. The person in charge, who appeared to be the entrepreneur, received my dining companion and me cheerily. As he was about to walk us to our table, another couple walked in. He did something odd. He left us standing and not only welcomed the other couple but walked them to their table first before returning to bring us to our table. Even if he had known the other couple personally, this action felt unacceptable. Since it was their opening day, I decided to let this pass and returned for a second visit, which was passable. My third visit has horrible. I ordered the same dish that I had ordered the last two times that I had been there - cordon bleu de dinde (Turkey cordon bleu). The meal appeared to be half the size of what had been served before; almost kid size. I was extremely hungry and disappointed, and ended up ordering a plate of cold cut as extra food, which arrived 15 minutes later when my hunger had passed. Going to a restaurant is not only about having a nice evening outside but it is about eating a satisfying meal. It is not fair to feel hungry after spending about CHF100 per person. I am certainly not going to visit this place again...

*Outstanding Experience with Ms Kenza!** Our recent visit to Au Pitit Chalet was truly memorable, thanks to the exceptional service provided by Ms Kenza. From the moment we arrived, she greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel right at home. Kenya's attention to detail and genuine care for our needs were evident throughout our dining experience. She expertly guided us through the menu, offering insights and recommendations that perfectly suited our tastes. Her superb knowledge of the dishes made our meal even more enjoyable! As a family from Malaysia, the hospitality we received from Ms Kenza made our evening special and unforgettable. We are grateful for her exceptional service and can't wait to return! Thank you, Ms Kenza, for making our experience at Au Pitit Chalet a delightful one! Glojas Dr. Jas & Family

While not the worst meal I experienced in Europe, it was undoubtedly the most disappointing. Initially, my wife and I wanted to sit inside the restaurant, but they convinced us that the outside seating was better. However, we soon realized it wasn't, environmental factors such as heat, smokers and pollution. The restaurant's interior was beautiful, but unfortunately, we couldn't enjoy it, as we ended up seated outside on a cramped patio where other tourists kept bumping into our chairs. The service was delivered with charisma, but it lacked attentiveness. The server was a nice person, but it felt that his upselling made me suspect he had ulterior motives. The pizza and salmon tartar was great. The steak was satisfactory but I didn’t enjoy the cheese fondue. I felt like this was a tourist trap.
