White Rabbit - Brunch & Co — Restaurant in Geneva

Unpopular opinion but the brunch was a disappointment. Atmosphere - downstairs area is unpleasant with no windows and tables very close to each other. Ordering via the QR code was convenient but ATTENTION the menu does not reflect accurately the allergens. So I had to call the waitress to verify each item. Food- for a gluten free toast you pay extra BUT you get much less food than the plates with normal versions because the bread slices are tiny. So quite overpriced for the amount of food you get. The coffee was mediocre, at best. After 2 hours you are politely kicked out because the table is reserved for someone else - noone warns you during reservation or when you arrive. The personnel were nice, friendly and helpful - but I wouldn't recommend this place specially for celiac or gluten...

The food is very good. I give 5 stars to food - it tastes good, comes fast, and is beautifully made.

Service is ok, patient with questions. Not warm but I guess that is the Geneva way.

The time I was there (opening), the restaurant was bright and airy, perfect for mid morning breakfast. But I suspect that the place can easily get full.

The restaurant appears to prefer reservations to be made (they were nice enough to give me a table even if I did not reserve in advance).

Menu is online. Ordering is online. Payment is online. But food is delivered onsite and on the table. And I was surprised on just how quick it came.

I take away one star as the price, to my mind, is not justified by the food and the experience. But again, this may just be...

my friend and i went to this place because of the good reviews. the place is cute. it took 30-45min for the food to arrive (for 2 people) and it took 75min for the pancakes to arrive. we asked a few times and they said they need to make the dough so we have to be patient. but i expected more of a restaurant where almost everyone orders pancakes. the avocado toast is good, the bread is nothing special and was a bit hard. to be honest the food is overpriced. i think the waitresses tried their best but you could clearly see that they were understaffed and the plates piled up on the counter. unfortunately i got sick after we ate there and my friend got diarrhea, so unfortunately i do not...
