Chez Sami Snack — Restaurant in Geneva

I had 2 totally Different experience. 1st day I went with my wife and 2 kids, I was refused the service, as we did not make reservation in advance, even though entire restaurant was empty - and rudely, I try to make reservation after some time same day, and was told you have to reserve 24 hrs in advance. (As I was carrying a pre paid voucher for the restaurant, On voucher it mentioned you need reservation in advance - but no where, u need 24 hrs before) - I passed by the restaurant few minutes before, seeing it was empty, I did not make it. I was very disappointed, as it was already paid, I made reservation for next day - During reservation - they did not even cared to Ask my name, which was strange. And we left. 2nd Day - there where same 2 guys, but this time, there manager was in restaurant as well, and there attitude was totally different. We where greeted by the manager, Food was good - good presentation. And would like to visit again for pick up. My wife did mentioned to Manager our experience from yesterday, and we where also offered a Free Desert - which excellent as well. For food I would give 4 Start and for Service - 2 Star, based on our 2 days experience, so Avg 3 Star.

As someone who has lived in three of the four Levantine countries, I can confidently say this is the closest I’ve come to authentic Levantine cuisine in Geneva. The food is absolutely exceptional, earning a solid 10/10 for its quality and flavor.

What truly sets this place apart is Andrei. He is incredibly kind, welcoming, and attentive, elevating the dining experience to a whole new level. His hospitality makes you feel right at home. He even goes the extra mile by preparing special off-menu sandwiches tailored to your preferences if you know what you like.

We ate here after deciding between couple of other restaurants. And plus I wanted halal food. The staff were helpful and spoke partial English. Luckily one of them understood nicely as she was an English speaker. We ordered some potato bites, hummus and chicken wings. Food wasn’t the best taste. It could have been better. It was over priced as the rest of the Geneva. I won’t be going there again purely because it wasn’t as tasty...
