Very disappointing, expensive. Decline â Not What It Used to Be
We had a very disappointing experience during our recent visit for our son'birthday (six persons) which was a stark contrast to the great meal we enjoyed here six months ago. Back then, everything was excellent. Unfortunately, it seems the chef has changedâand so has the quality.
Out of three dishes forming the body of the menu (Chf 118.- each), two were served cold, which immediately set the tone. The main courseâa chicken dishâwas fine but completely unremarkable and oddly came with no side dish at all. Every plate, regardless of what we ordered, was paired with the exact same lambâs lettuce salad, which quickly became repetitive.
The dessert, a strawberry tart, looked and tasted like it had been made with a factory-made crustâcertainly not what you'd expect at these prices. By the end of the menu, we were still hungry and ended up ordering a cheese plate just to feel somewhat satisfied, along with eating far more bread than we normally would.
To top it off, we had to ask the staff to change the wine glasses when ordering a different wineâsomething that should be standard practice.
All in all, it felt like a very poor return on a rather expensive bill. Sadly, we...

Place: Located in one of the terraces of the hotel, it is a perfect place for a lunch in summer.
Service: This is a 5 star hotel and so is the service, they even have knife selection for the meat. However they take very long time to serve which doesn't go well with working days lunches between meetings.
Food: A bit disappointing. We had beef which was good but small, then slow cooked chicken which to my taste was boiled chicken and then we had tartare du beouf which was good.
For a 5 star Brasserie was expecting a bit more taste...
