Le Comptoir des 3 Places — Restaurant in Lausanne

We recently had dinner there with friends . Reservation is suggested. The atmosphere of the place is nice and cozy , although there was a fuzz from people talking loud plus the music was almost not present.

The service was excellent and the waiters were very fast , smart and consistent.

The food was very well cooked and the portions excellent and would satisfy even the ones with a great appetite .

I tasted the beef with chimichurri sauce fries and vegetables . The meat was cooked medium rare and the result was splendid . In any case the menu offers a great variety of dishes.

Pricing overall was descent around 50chf per person with a drink and a main course.

The four stars rating will be for the absence of music and the fuzz.

We had lunch here the other day eating traditional Lyonnaise food. It was excellent. I know Mère Brazier did not cook vegetarian but in the 21st century you would expect a restaurant that wishes to attract young people as future customers to have at least one vegetarian dish on their menu. Proposing a salad or cooked vegetables as the main course to a vegetarian is an insult rather than a temptation to come back. Send your chef to learn...

The food is good . I had tuna and it tasted ok. I did not like the service at all. The waitress was always on a rush, arrogant and bald. She insisted on us having desert and when we declined she kept insisting on having at least coffee. Then she turned her back upset and left and we had to wait for her with the bill . Finally we went in front to pay where she behaved rudely ....
