I usually order a vegetarian or a chicken platter, either in person or via Uber Eats. It’s usually very good, although I have sometimes had stale baked savouries. I prefer the food quality at the Levant Express Branch. They are usually quick but the service can sometimes be a bit abrupt. Sometimes you have to ask for the table to be wiped down. Eating outside is great if weather permits. Inside the decor is a bit cafeteria style. Not cozy.

Overall, an okay price-for-value experience, although the pita bread used for the Taouk sandwiches seemed harder to chew than what I’d expect in an oriental restaurant. On another note, I pity the people working or eating inside the restaurant, as the oven temperatures in there are really high.

Our first experience at this "fast" restaurant was ok, but last week - it was ver disapointing and we won't come back. We ordered 2 plates - one with chicken "shashlik" and another one with "beef" shashlik - 18 chf each. We also ordered a tea pot for 2 persons (6 chf). The salad that came with shashliks was soggy, the tomatoes and cucumbers were NOT fresh, you could see that the vegetable were already going off .The salad was swimming in its own juice and vinegar and the rest of the components of the dish -such a humus and another dip and a pizza shaped bread on the side of the plate were all getting soggy and wet sinking in this puddle of not fresh salad juice. Humus tasted sour and not fresh either ( and I am an experienced humus eater so I know what it should taste like) . The tea in the pot was lukewarm. I am not sure why I did not just go and ask the waiter, who runs the orders, to replace the both plates. I guess, this place does not give an impression of a venue where managers listen to customer's feedback. No matter how "affordable" your food is, you can not serve food which has passed its "best before" date. As a result I give you one star and you have...

I was excited to finally find a restaurant serving Manakish, but my experience at Le Levant was far from what I had hoped. I ordered two Manakish, one with cheese and one with za'atar, but instead, I was given a single Manakish with both cheese and za'atar mixed together. When I explained that I had ordered two separate ones, the staff offered to make a new one, but I was in a hurry and couldn't wait.

What made the situation worse is that there was no gesture of goodwill or compensation, and I ended up paying for a meal I didn't want. The taste was disappointing, and I couldn't even finish it – mixing cheese and za'atar in this way just didn't work. I ended up throwing it away. On top of that, the dough was not good at all, which made the experience even more unpleasant.

I had been planning to try other meals at this restaurant, but after this, I won't be returning. Lastly, the staff could benefit from maintaining a cleaner and more professional appearance. Overall, it was a frustrating experience that left a...

The first day we went there the food was absolutely amazing, the staff was kind, they did forget to give us one thing we ordered (the zatar bread), we left early without finishing our food at the restaurant, instead we took it to go and the other things we ordered for take-away. The waiter seemed offended and said they will give us our money back if we don't like the food, but that wasn't the case, we just had to leave early because of personal issues. The second time the same waiter was rude and not interested in us as customers, but the food was okay. The third day we went there we got the same attitude, and got sick from the food. (+ the bread was not even fully baked) Overall, I think the food is really good unless you upset the tall waiter. The prices are okay/cheap compared to Switzerland. I advise you to go there and be extra nice in order not to...
