Every time I travel to Lausanne, I always stay in Ouchy and often go to this place as it is next to the hotel I stay. I rarely seat down, as " Food to go" always are priority and if few tables are full, you can be sure to be there for an hour. You will wait a long time for food. The waitress are very nice but you can tell they are alone, taking phone orders and serving the 6-7 tables available in the room and are way too overwhelmed by work. That is ok to me, I do understand and I always leave a nice tip. Food is good, not the best in town, but it is good and portions are of great size for a big eater like me. I like the restaurant design and colours. Even though the toilets aren't connected to the inside restaurant, you do have toilets in the outside behind it. It means you must dress to go to toilets. They are cleaned. Lately I have seen the Thai Lady owner, and I do understand why the staff is over stressed. her attitude is a high as the Mount Kilimanjaro and I just don't like it. The worst, I was there 2 weeks ago with my husband. I thought a Thai person would welcome an other one with open arms, but that's not the case. The owner barely said hello. That was ok to me, bad days happens to everyone but here tonight, I am not happy. We were both, came inside for a table and while waiting for someone to welcome us, other 2 couples came inside. The owner didn't acknowledge us at all and pass in between us to seat the other 2 couples. The other 2 couples , looked at us , surprised and then the owner , only then, asked us how many person for a table ( we were only 2 ). Her attitude was so bad, the regular waitress felt bad and didn't know what to say. I have to remind you, I have been to this place at least a dozen time since the beginning of this year. The waitress knows me as the spicy guy. I always ask 5 spicy , means the most spicy of all. Anyway , because of the owner's attitude, I didn't stay , and only took " Food to go" for one person as my husband didn't want to order anything anymore, he was upset by the way were were treated. I do complains as I do share amazing stories in all my traveling. If I do complains, it must go far for me to say anything. I don't believe in negative things and I prefer to keep an open mind and stay positive. Tonight she crossed the line. Too bad as the concept is great, and the waitress are doing their best. I would give 10 out of 5 for the waitress.

If you happen to be in Lausanne and crave for reasonable-price Thai food, just consider visiting this restaurant! And, of course, We’re Thai! Yesterday when we were in Lausanne, we stumbled across this restaurant during our city walk and it turned out to be one of our new favorites Thai restaurant. The overall taste of our dinner was kinda authentic, a tad bit chinese-style but it’s acceptable. For us, our favorite dish was ”Beef Kaprao”. The woman in the front, whom I assumed is the store owner, isn’t Thai and I can assure you that is not the problem at all! Hope you all enjoy the meal like we do!

The young lady who took our order was very sweet in explaining everything. While the food was being prepared the owner, a sweet lady kept on checking. The food packaging was amazing. The taste was fantastic. Overall loved every thing about this place.

Amazing and authentic Thai food!! The pad krapow (chicken basil with rice) was full of flavor. It was just as good as in Thailand! You can ask to make the dish spicy if you want. The chicken fried rice and the fried vegetables were also very tasty. The owner is very friendly as well. It’s in a great spot to takeaway and go sit by the lake. My favorite place to eat in Lausanne!

Edit: I loved it so much I ended up eating here for lunch and dinner...
