Sunday brunch at an amazing location, with great company and an amazing view of the lake! The restaurant is located inside The Olympic Museum, you’d have to walk up the stairs (you’ll see the dates & countries of the past Olympics engraved on the them!), turn right and then you’d see a road done up like running tracks leading you to the restaurant! We were greeted by a friendly host and all our servers for the brunch were helpful, especially when I needed their help to sneak me the bill so that I could surprise my good friend. The restaurant is bright and spacious with both indoor and alfresco seating. It was a lovely sunny day and we decided to sit outside and take in the breathtaking view! The buffet spread was extensive, from jams & pastries, pancakes, eggs & sausages, a wide selection of appetisers, fish, meats and desserts! We gave it our best shot to try a little of each item but there were some clear favourites that I went back for seconds - like the cured salmon, the deviled eggs, beef that was so tender it just melts in your mouth! It was truly a lovely experience! I highly recommend it booking in advance because this brunch is always booked out.

I have travelled the world extensively over 40 years. I ate at all restaurants ranging from pop & mom’s to Michelin three stars. This is my honest review of the upstairs restaurant Tom’s Café at Olympic museum in Ouchy, Lausanne. The view on the terrace is greatly overlooking the alps, lake and museum garden. The brunch option needs booking and is quite good and diversified (appetizers, cheese, dessert). I was just a bit disappointed by the mains which were not so warm on buffet and slightly overcooked. There is also maybe a lack of fruit juice options on the buffet (only apple juice). At CHF 68 budget option with one hot drink, this is a good to very good value for money overall. Finally, a side personal note: I had a food allergy at end of the meal which was mostly caused by our party not paying attention to an allergen which was written on the budget tags (my/our bad). The staff was kind enough to drive me to and back from nearby pharmacy and do a commercial gesture on the check. Props to the team for professional and friendly reaction.

I recently had the pleasure of dining at the restaurant in the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, and it was an unforgettable experience. The buffet à discrétion was simply delightful, offering a wide variety of local delicacies. However, the highlight for me was the cheese selection. It was truly exceptional, featuring a diverse array of local cheeses that were perfectly curated. The quality and variety alone made the meal worth every penny. If you're a cheese lover, this is a must-visit spot! The ambiance of the restaurant, coupled with the stunning views of Lake Geneva, added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. The staff was attentive and friendly, ensuring that every guest felt welcome and well taken care of. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone visiting Lausanne—it’s a dining experience you won’t want to miss!

From the moment we walked in, the staff members made us feel welcome and attended to our every need with genuine warmth. Not to mention their exceptional service that truly enhanced our visit. The food was nothing short of delicious. Every dish we tried was bursting with flavor and beautifully presented. I could clearly see that a lot of care and expertise went into preparing each meal. To top it all off, the view from the restaurant was simply stunning. We enjoyed our meal while taking in the beautiful scenery, which made the experience even more memorable. If you looking for great food, outstanding service, and a wonderful atmosphere this would be the place to be.

This restaurant is a fantastic find 👌, perfectly situated with stunning views 😎 of Lake Léman and the Alps. The terrace offers a delightful spot to enjoy the scenery while indulging in tasty dishes 🍲😋 and refreshing beve🍹. A great place for some food after visiting the Olympic museum. They have a lovely terrace with a great view of the lake. The menu is very global (there was even a special limited-time section for Japanese food due to the tokyo olympics), and suitable for all ages. The chicken katsu curry was alright; I wish there was a bit more curry sauce though. Prices are pretty reasonable.
