We went to plant after reading the reviews expecting excellent vegan food but the restaurant fell short of our expectations. We opted for the three course menu (soup, tartar and butternut squash). The soup was lukewarm at best but tasted good, this would be the highlight of the meal. The aubergine tartar has a challenging texture and a mish mash of tastes (tomato, capers and wasabi), the butternut squash had been steamed and was tasteless. Read moreWe had an amazing experience, what a lovely restaurant. The food was delicious and the drink pairing was really nice. We had the alcohol pairing, but there is also a non-alcoholic option. We love the concept of plant-based and this chef uses the flavors and textures of the vegetables to bring the dishes to another level. The freshness and crisp of the tomato with kimchi juice, then the tartar of eggplant with beautiful fluffy milkbread (yes vegan, we asked), the sticky carrots with ginger, gnocchi of sweetpotato: wow! The food was amazing, and the wine pairings -- and alcohol-free options as my bf had -- turned the experience up to eleven.
