warm service, decent food, but interior could use some tweaks
A warm and welcoming experience right from the entrance, thanks to the lovely front lady who sets the tone with her kindness and attentiveness. The food itself? Just right. Nothing over the top, but well-balanced portions and flavors that don’t leave you feeling heavy.
The chicken and hummus is a solid recommendation, though the chicken leans slightly on the dry side—nothing major, but a little extra juiciness would have made it perfect. The intimate setting adds to the charm, though the interior design feels a bit mismatched. It could benefit from a more cohesive theme to match the warm service and food quality.
One minor downside is how the kitchen is a bit too exposed—not in the engaging, open-kitchen kind of way, but rather in a way that slightly breaks the ambiance. A bit more separation would make the dining experience feel smoother.
Overall, a good spot if you’re craving Lebanese food with a welcoming touch. Not the most refined experience, but for the taste, portions, and kindness of the service, it’s definitely...
Read moreWe ate at San Juca tonight for dinner with our two daughters and it was magnificent! We arrived before opening and they offered for us to stay and have a drink beforehand but we went to the Christmas market and came back. The staff was so nice and wonderful with our children. We are a couple that likes to still eat well and not have to resort to buffets or fast food pizza places just because we have kids. We never felt that they were unwelcome. After ordering they brought us a starter which was shrimp in a butter saffron sauce and bread. My five year who never eats crusts of bread couldn’t get enough! They Children’s pasta came and they LOVED it. I was jealous I didn’t eat it as well. My husband and I both had a filet of fish with sautéed spinach and rice. It was AMAZING and so much food. To end the night the girls had a scoop of ice cream and my husband and I shared a baileys sundae which was so amazing. While paying the check, they brought us limoncello and we discussed their specialty’s for tomorrow. I highly recommend this restaurant. They just revamped and it...
Read moreWe had a very pleasant experience at Beyrouth Restaurant in Montreux. While the prices aren’t the cheapest, they’re absolutely justified by the quality of the food and the overall experience.
The place has a cozy, welcoming vibe with a great atmosphere. The staff were incredibly kind, helpful, and multilingual — speaking Arabic, English, and French, which made communication very easy and enjoyable. We received great suggestions from our server and even had a lovely conversation with her, which added a personal touch to our visit.
The food itself was outstanding — incredibly tasty and clearly made with care. We ordered a variety of dishes and enjoyed every bite.
Cleanliness was also excellent. The tables were spotless, and the bathrooms were well-maintained and very clean.
Overall, we highly recommend Beyrouth Restaurant. It’s a gem if you’re looking for authentic Lebanese cuisine or tasty halal food in a warm and...
