Caffè Spettacolo Sankt Moritz (Rhätische Bahn) — Restaurant in Sankt Moritz

We passed Caffè Spettacolo on the way to Pontresina from St.Moritz. It is located right next to the train station. The building looks very modern and has such a great view - looking directly towards the lake & mountains.

At first, we were hesitant about trying this coffee shop out since there were so many bad reviews. However, it was one of the only coffee shops opened on Sunday, so we gave it a try.

The croissants and patisseries are very fresh and tasty, the hot chocolate is extremely creamy and the black coffee is dark, but not too sour. Coupled with the breathtakingly beautiful view – what’s not to like?

Around the outdoor seating area, they have a clear glass used which is perfect for blocking the wind, without obstructing the wonderful view.

Compared with the standard price in St. Moritz, the coffee shop is very reasonable. Service is very friendly. Also, you can also use Apple Pay at check out ( it is not common yet in Switzerland).

The only downside is: our large latte had way too much "coffee water" in it.

Love this place and would definitely come back when we visit...

I have been deeply disappointed by my experience at this place, especially considering that it once held special memories for me as a place where I spent quality time with my family. However, my perception of it drastically changed when I encountered an unsettling incident with the manager. One day, I simply greeted her with a polite "hello," only to be met with an unwarranted outburst as she aggressively shouted at me, seemingly frustrated by her own busyness. I was taken aback by such unprofessional behavior but decided to give the place another chance, hoping to move past the incident. Unfortunately, on my next visit, I witnessed something even more disturbing—this same manager openly insulting a group of tourists in Italian, solely because they struggled to understand the language. Seeing such blatant disrespect toward guests was truly disheartening and unacceptable. server Tania was beyond rude. rolled her eyes at me for no reason, was messy taking orders… disastrous. serve Ilaria had to step in and take the orders from here, shes much kínder and profesional than Tania. i was so shocked at her rude and just frankly can’t believe people like this think they can just treat customers like that! well she didn’t roll her eyes at anyone else except me and my latin family- maybe there something there? won’t speculate much more but i hope they get this review to her and let her know she’s making the otherwise perfect caffé a terribly unprofessional and...
