Ok, we've found "our" bar in St Gallen. This is what it's all about. Dark wood, fantastic atmosphere, super friendly, knowledgeable staff, amazing range of drinks, the other patrons are friendly and open. You can sit on both sides of the central bar and watch the world go by. The drinks prices are actually surprisingly reasonable too, particularly when you factor in that it's St Gallen's premium hotel. We absolutely loved it and will be back repeatedly. Service is extremely arrogant though, after a short visit at the bar I went to the host and paid the damage, said Bye, have a good evening - the guy ignored me to the fullest, didn't hesitate to even say bye, by any means. This doesn't hurt my feelings in any way, but after all, it is a bar in which you could expect a certain amount of hospitality/service. Arrogance is unacceptable in an establishment of this standard.

Read moreCan only talk about the drinks. This is definately one of the best if not the best cocktail bars in St.Gallen and definately one of the better ones in Switzerland.
Had both alcohol free variants of an Amaretto Sour and Espresso Martini. The amaretto sour was excellent, the Espresso Martini was quite good.
Also had a smoked fig and rosemary old fashioned, which was also excellent in both taste and texture.
Part of the bar is also a smokers lounge that has two quite big humidors with cigars.
