The buffet offered a strong mix of traditional European and international breakfast items: 🥖 Bakery: Fresh breads, croissants, and pastries — light, crisp, and clearly made with quality ingredients. 🥚 Hot Dishes: Eggs, sausages, and other staples were cooked properly and kept warm without being overdone. 🥗 Cold Items: Fruit, yogurt, cereals, and cheeses gave lighter, healthy choices. ☕ Coffee & Drinks: Coffee was fresh and smooth, served promptly; juices were also available in a good variety. Everything felt well thought out, with good quality across the board — not just filler items.

Food of incredible quality, amazing bread and meat. Very attentive service. They sat us in the gondola as requested. They also brought us this nice birthday cake for my partner. It’s a very worth it restaurant.

Nevertheless, I do not rate it 5 stars for a reason: We did one 3 dishes menu for my partner and I took a fondue. He eats more than me, I had enough with that. We had been told we couldn’t share the dishes from the 3 course menu (despite when I had called before, I had explained this plan but I wasn’t told that). We agreed and only tried a bit of the different dishes each other was getting, but not fully shared. This was considered sharing and we got a bill without the 3 dishes menu. After telling the waiter and discussing it for a while, he changed the bill. It was good that he changed it, but it wasn’t a nice experience to live, and even less when you are celebrating a surprise birthday dinner. If we had known or been advised we would have been billed like that, we would have taken 3 dishes from the beginning, even if there was food left.

So be aware: if you want the 3 dishes menu, you better take a menu for each person if you want to try the others dishes, or do not try them at all!!
