I recently visited Take Easy Thai Take Away in Zurich and was thoroughly impressed by the authentic flavors and quality of the dishes. I tried the Khao Pad with shrimp, Khao Pad Subprod with chicken, and the classic chicken Pad Thai. The Khao Pad Subprod stood out with its delightful pineapple flavor, offering a perfect balance of sweet and savory that transported me straight to Thailand. The Khao Pad with shrimp was equally satisfying, featuring well-cooked rice and fresh vegetables. The chicken Pad Thai was a classic done right—flavorful noodles with just the right amount of tang and spice. The service was prompt and friendly, and the prices were reasonable, especially considering the generous portions. The restaurant maintains a cozy and unpretentious atmosphere, making it a great spot for a casual meal. You can adjust your spiciness with a variety of sauces available on the table. Although this place is mainly for takeaway, there is a small place where you can dine in.

We were on our way from the nearby Marriott and have stoped by here. What a good choice it was. I must admit that the flavor of the Pad Thai was not typical but it was very delicious. The quality of food was good. It was authentic and delicious. The quantity was very generous. The service was excellent with a very kind and relaxing atmosphere. There was no wait time and the price was surprisingly inexpensive.

Delicious authentic Thai food at reasonable price given Swiss standards in an unassuming hole in the wall shop. You can choose two dishes to go with fried rice/ rice for 16CHF and you can choose from a good range of dishes from chicken green curry to fried fish or tofu curry. We had the chicken green curry, duck , beef curry and sliced pork- all delicious

This used to be one of my go-to Thai take away places. I loved it. But now the staff has changed (including the cook) and it has nothing to do with what it used to be.

I have encountered the following problems:

-I order my food in advance and then the order gets forgotten (has happened twice already, also when I order in person in the restaurant) -The pineapple rice does not have pineapple -The tamarind sauce chicken no longer tastes like tamarind (or has sauce for that matter) -The cashier doesn't understand anything (like when you ask for a receipt) -They haven't fixed their card payment terminal in over a month

I unfortunately won't be going...

Took over hours to get 2 x mains with only 2 other couples in the restaurant. My partners dish was returned multiple times. First time given to another table, second time was completely different dish. Then my dish was also given to another table. Then partner was given his dish with prawns instead of chicken. My pad see ew was yum however the disorganisation and timing outweighs the flavour. I watched a man stand at the til for over 20mins just to pay for his meal while one of the staff sat down and then went outside to take a phone call. Would...
