First visit for me and my wife for anniversary to Zurich. While we were on our way to the planned trip to the mountain in the morning, my wife noticed the name of this restaurant which was closed and told me it’s Syrian! We checked when we came back and asked one of the workers who replied “I’m the only one here not Syrian!” At that moment, the owner of the restaurant warmly welcomed us when we explained that we’re not ready as we just came in from a long trip, he was so polite and highly professional and quickly summarized and reviewed the restaurant menú and added you will be welcome any time that we will be at your service. We came back and ordered the food. The menue was very cleared full with complete authentic Syrian food. The workers were very fast and quickly manage the table we like. The time spent to serve the food was amazingly convenient. The food was delicious that it reminded me with the authentic style in Syria also the amount was more than enough. This restaurant has the taste of Syrian original food in the heart of Zurich which is fantastically well managed. I highly recommend all Arabic Syrian food lovers to visit this calm clean highly taste...
Read moreEver heard of an upscale, bougie shawarma? No? Neither have I but the beef shawarma dish I got here was very, very good with an equally impressive presentation. My wife's chicken kebab was also enjoyable with the chicken still moist and not dry like (chicken) kebabs can sometimes be.

I did reduce the atmosphere by one star because we did find it a bit cramped. Totally understand space is a premium but nonetheless, would like a little more space between us and the next table. Service was prompt and cordial and exactly what you would hope for while on vacation or really anytime for...
Read moreLet's talk about the food first. We ordered the Mix Grill and Awsal Lahm, and both were tremendously good, especially the beef! Some might find it "raw" compared to the drier, more well-done meat often served in parts of the Middle East, but here, it's prepared medium-well, which is absolutely perfect. I highly recommend trying it this way. My tip: skip the Sheesh Tawuk and focus on their excellent meat dishes instead.
The service was also good and friendly, and the outdoor dining area is spacious and very neat. My only two minor issues are the small portion sizes, especially for the sides like hummus, garlic sauce, and mutable, and that it's a bit pricey – a slight reduction would be welcome. Regardless, I definitely...
