NEVER DINE HERE! If u have patience plz read the following: (5 stars just for topping the comment on Google Map) We were very unhappy with this terrible service. One of the worse moment was when the waiter filled my glass, which was good, but he had my beer and other plates removed without asking us. Then it seemed like the waiter was in rush of something, leaning on the back door and KEEPING AN EYE ON US EATING outside. Then we were told that it would be closed soon (which I do hope so), when people were still eating inside. They told us they would close outside first at 10pm then inside at 11. It’s OK but WHY NOT TELLING US MOVE INSIDE? These people don’t really know how to be polite and the waitress checked the bill but told that WHAT WE EXPERIENCED IS THE WAY THEY DO IN ZURICH!! It doesn’t make any sense no matter where we live even we the three living in Europe for several years with one in Zurich. And the waitress KEPT SAYING WE MISUNDERSTOOD THE WAITER! They gave us bad service and stereotyped us as travelers or something, just wanting to check and finish work. I believe it’s not the Zurich.
If u are patient enough, check the comments and sort by lowest. U will find the worst service ever.
We had the receipt. If u the manager, would u like to tell us why...
Read moreIt is unbelievable that people in Zurich will have such a terrible experience in a restaurant in Zurich. The waiter RUDELY took away our food and cutlery without asking if we were done with our meal. Even worse, there was still a little beer in my friend's bottle. BUT the waiter poured it into his glass directly and took away the bottle. The two waiters often glared at us in front of the door. It seems that we were having the meal under SURVEILLANCE. We tried to discuss all the experiences when we paid for the bill, but the waitress explained it as a rule in Zurich. I have lived in Zurich for over one year and this is the first time I was treated like this. She thought we misunderstand the waiter's behaviour and we didn't receive any apologies from the waiter. I'd really like to know when Zurich had such rules. Why are you guys trying to explain your rude behaviour as Zurich culture? Is it Zurich's culture to rudely take away guests' cutlery and stare at them nearby while they are dining? Why do waiters not pay for their rude behaviour but keep putting it down to it being our misunderstanding? If the manager in the restaurant sees the comment, I wish I could get the answers to these questions from the restaurant manager and the apologies...
Read moreFirstly, we were offered a seat outdoors despite the restaurant being empty inside. We chose to sit indoors because we had kids with us and were concerned about the cold weather.
Secondly, we ordered a small bottle of water knowing we might not finish it and would request more if needed to avoid waste. However, the rude waitress took away all three glasses except for one. Had she informed us, we would have opted for a larger bottle so each of us could have our own glass. It felt quite disrespectful for her to just remove the glasses without saying anything.
Thirdly, we asked for forks and spoons for our children, but she ignored our request. My husband had to get his own, which is quite disappointing for a restaurant. It felt like there was a lack of hospitality on her part, and as an Asian herself, her behavior seemed quite out of line.
Lastly, when our son accidentally spilled water on the table, we requested it to be wiped down, but we ended up having to clean it ourselves.
In conclusion, it feels like this restaurant caters primarily to non-Asians. It’s...
