Haus am Fluss — Restaurant in Zurich

The place is nice but it was awful to watch the Euro game here. We came in and by a miracle found a table for four people, our friends were just behind us and they couldn’t get it because they FORBADE reserving tables, so in 10min that we arrive earlier than our friends they could not join! The security blocked the entrance saying “we won’t allow anybody to get in until all seats are given up so new people can seat” we went outside again to explain that our friends were just in the Uber behind and that’s why they couldn’t get it with us, no reasoning with them, they told us “yeah everyone says that” well if everyone says that then maybe all of them had a place to seat? So what is the reason not to let them in ? And the staff was sooo rude ! And unprofessional the entire time we were there. Were they even prepared for the Eurocup viewing??… it...

Beautiful venue directly next to the river. The food is more European with asian touch and was too whitewashed for me but others might see that different.

The prices are definitely on the upper limit and for a self service place that's a bit too much. Plus, the runners are not doing a good job. If you ask for so much money for food and drinks one can expect to have clean tables. We had to empty our table ourselves and after food they only pick up your plates but no one is wiping anything. Even McDonald's does a better job.

Typical for Zurich, in the rest rooms you find left overs from drugs on the surfaces. Nothing new here and speaks for the wannabe hip and fancy crowd that you'll find there.

Only went for a drink. Had this nice pink spritz that tastes sweet and is delicious! Glad we sat on the side of the bar that is facing the river cause inside the music is suuuper loud.

Otherwise really a cool place, lots of plants everywhere, the roof with the wood is beautiful. Haven't tasted the food but will come back.

On the other side it's true that there's nobody to clean the tables. You have to take the glasses away from the previous person yourself.

Cocktail glasses could be a bit bigger. Once ice cubes are added it makes it a full glass but in reality the quantity of alcohol/Prosecco etc is very small! Anyway, well done for setting up such a great little...
