I came here for Valentine’s day as it was close to home and had great reviews — it was great decision to come here!
We were greeted at the door and seated. They did a thorough check of our Covid certificate and ID 👏🏼
The tables are set up to keep distance/have privacy between guests, which is great. It still has an intimate feeling when dining.
We had an aperitif and boy was it strong 💪🏼 and delicious. We ordered wine later to enjoy with our meal.
We ordered four half dishes to try as much food as we could. We were first welcomed with an amuse-bouche, which I am still thinking about. It was delicious!
The four half dishes were brought out at once share all the dishes. All of the food was delicious. I even thought about ordering more, but I knew I had to leave room for dessert.
The chocolate cake was a bit small, and served in a small ramekin and not in a cocotte, but it was still delicious.
The digestif menu card is not big, but if you ask to see the cart with all the bottles, the selection process is easier.
All in all, our dinner was delicious and the staff was friendly. I would definitely come here again to try the rest...
Read moreWent there yesterday on a hunch and were absolutely taken by it. The food was excellent, portions were generous, dishes very innovative but not too extravant and prices very fair for Zürich standard. The menu is small enough to ensure freshness of the produce but large enough to cover all tastes.
Service was very kind and helpful. Not the service you'd expect in a high class restaurant but they make everything up with their friendliness!
Ambiente: very nice interior, modern but still cozy. Outside also looked comfy but we opted to stay inside.
Only negative : the restaurant is on a (fortunately not too busy) main street with some trams and cars passing. It did not bother us but we were happy to stay inside.
Will definitely go...

Disclaimer: we visited on Valentine’s Day so of course it was much busier than usual. I had a green salad to start and the fish of the day (trout) with potato pancakes and leeks. The salad was fine but did not have enough dressing. The fish did not have a great taste (very earthy), the potato pancakes served with it were cold and the leeks were hard and completely unable to be cut with the fish knife, which was the only knife I was left with. The hostess and waitress were very kind and helpful and the wine we had was also good and price appropriate. Unfortunately I just did not...
