3.75/5 Italian dinner at @morgensterndamario - cool place for a weekend dinner: italian food for fair prices (still not cheap, we spent 100.-/ pp incl wine for a main/ starter). The scaloppine with porcini were quite good, not all their meat is from CH though, so check the menu in detail if that’s important for you :) Shared appetizers platter was good (picture 2 was a portion for 1) , nothing overly exciting though (parmigiana was really good, as was the burrata). the seating was a bit tight and most tables are quite close. Not the best place for a date/ private conversations 😂😇 Also at a certain point they had loud latino music in the restaurant, but there was not a special party vibe. Overall great experience, but not my favorite Italian, especially as the service was mediocre (and did not speak Italian) and the atmosphere did not...

Fantastic dinner, very friendly service. Feels really more like visiting family and friends than a restaurant. We had al dente homemade pasta with a selection of fresh mushrooms in a creamy sauce as starter, then fish with a perfect risotto and a great tiramisu for dessert. Everything very delicious!! Mushroom selection was shown to choose from, also the available fresh fish. All in all a great dinner...

Super Mario und Manuela die gemeinsam das Restaurant führen haben mit ihrem Charm und Mario mit seiner sehr speziellen Art den Laden fest im Griff. Das Restaurant ist mitten im Langstrassenquartier an einer ruhigen chilligen Ecke. Das Quartierfeeling ist somit absolut perfekt. Ich bin einfach ein absoluter Fan von den verschiedenen Vorspeisen. Sei es über die Polpette, das Thunfisch Tartar, die Pili Pili, die frittierten Calamaris und das Parmigana. Man sollte ja noch eine Hauptspeise essen, wenn ich das Restaurant besuche ist eine Portion Taglierini mit Steinpilzen als Hauptspeise mein Pflichtkonsum, obwohl ich die Vorspeisen über alles liebe. Ich persönlich finde diese Hauptspeise absolut fantastisch und ich kenne kein Restaurant in Zürich wo dies besser serviert wird wie hier. Und falls man mal an einem Weekend zu Zweit hingeht, und dann anschliessend noch in der Umgebung weiterzieht und den Charm spielen lässt, habt ihr vielleicht die Möglichkeit, dass euch Mario mit seinem Tuktuk persönlich hinfaehrt.
