Moudi is a gem of a restaurant with Lebanese cuisine situated in quite location close to Stockerstrasse in Zurich. It has lovely vibe and was crowded when I went in on Saturday night. I called for booking at Laura who answered the phone was sweet and said the restaurant is fully booked and busy but she will put me on the waiting list and I can possible sit on the bar till I find a decent table. As I walked in the place was packed to the rafter but Laura was super efficient and managed a place on the bar which was comfortable. People seems to have great time there and waiter were attentive. I was intrigued by the names of cocktails on a blackboard. Moscow Mule has modified versions like Munich Mule and Beirut mule!!! I ordered Beirut Mule being in Lebanese restaurant and it did not disappoint with it’s Vodka based connotations. Bartenders were chirpy and attentive.Laura was managing the whole crowd and moving swiftly from table to table. She took my order of Sujuk a mezze with Sausages in pomegranate juice, hummus as starter to go with my drink. For main course I ordered Lamb chops in mash potato. Now this a fusion which makes sense for Swiss taste. I am used to Lamb chops on it’s own or maybe with potato fries and tahini paste. But these combination tasted very good, chops were excellent.Overall very satisfying experience. The place is vibrant.Laura and her team gives very good service different from many other restaurants.I am going to come...

I have gluten allergy and I was very exited for their gluten free Flammkuchen. My boyfriend and I ordered our food, 30 minutes later they bring his food and inform me that they are out of gluten free dough without even proposing an alternative. Another waiter comes and I ask for options and tell her that I waited 30 minutes to find out they were out of gluten free dough and now my boyfriend has his food and I don’t. She responded annoyed asking why didn’t I order my food before. I told her I did and I was informed after 30 minutes they were out. I asked her to agree on an arrangement and she said no discounts, but they would bring me the food asap. Right after, another waiter comes with something I did not order to apologize, probably a wrong order that they could not place on any other table. Horrible experience, ridiculous waiting time and the food is...

So average I wouldn’t return. I found the food mediocre and lacking in creativity. Some of the food came quite dry. Some of it didn’t even come … when I mentioned to the waitress we were missing some items she gaslighted me insisting this was exactly what our party of six had ordered. But then five min later when I asked her where a certain item was she decided the kitchen had run out off this item and forgot to relay the information. The waitress was quite haphazard in her conduct, trying to wipe the table down and balance a tray full of glasses and bottles that she nearly spilled all of this over our pregnant friend. And then ahead of the surprise cake she brought out all the cake plates and cutlery, clearly giving the surprise cake away. I don’t understand how this restaurant has such high reviews, the food is utterly average and the...

I cannot express enough how much I adore Moudi Restaurant. From the moment you step inside, you are transported to a world of authentic Lebanese cuisine and warm hospitality. I have been a loyal customer, visiting multiple times and also enjoying their delightful delivery service. The food is simply divine - bursting with flavors that transport me straight to Lebanon. The indoor seating area is beautifully adorned with traditional decor, creating an ambiance that adds to the overall experience. And let's not forget about their exceptional selection of teas and cocktails! Moudi Restaurant truly stands out as one of the best Lebanese restaurants I've ever had the pleasure of dining at.

We had our meal at the restaurant and, overall, the dishes were good. However, the “MUSAKAH” dish was unpalatable, possibly due to its lack of freshness. Additionally, we noticed that when we ordered tap water—which is usually free in most European countries—it was added to our bill. When we inquired about this, the employee stated that the restaurant owner charges for tap water. Question for locals and tourists: Is it customary for restaurants like Moudi and other eateries in Zurich to charge an additional fee for tap water?

It was a pleasure eat here. I was with a friend and we took something to share and something for each of us. Everything gluten free. Just a concern about the bread was a bit cold. But for the rest the taste was amazing and really good! I will come again to take other dishes. Also the people who works are so cute and I enjoyed all! The chairs and tables are cool and the ambient is for specific moments! If you go here you have a good impression
