Amazing food, perfect location, and incredible value!

Our group of nine was passing through Zurich, craving Middle Eastern cuisine but short on time. I called the owner, Bahjat, in advance and asked him to prepare a selection of guest favorites.

Damas is just a short walk from the train station, and its quiet corner on Josefstrasse and Quellenstrasse provided a fantastic outdoor dining experience.

We enjoyed a delicious feast with an impressive variety of dishes—all for a very reasonable price per person.

Excellent food and charming staff. Sat outside as weather was delightful and they were very accommodating trying to find cushions for our daughter to sit on, letting her play around the tables etc. We had one of the platters (the one with grilled meats) and it was excellent. We had dinner here last night, a group of 5, and the food and service was superb! We got the big shared Meze platter with kebabs, salad and shawarma, and everything was freshly made and delicious. The owner is a Syrian Kurd I believe, and he is so friendly, he stopped by a few times to make sure we were enjoying our meal.
