I had ordered a vegetarian green chilli curry and I had specifically told the server I don’t eat meat. There was a piece of beef in my curry and when I told the server he tried to deny it and said it was chicken (I don’t eat chicken either) even though the piece of meat was red and clearly beef. If you’re a vegan/vegetarian avoid this place because they don’t care about that.
Edit in response from the restaurant: The server was inattentive, I had asked for fried rice instead of steamed rice and they had served me steamed rice and then took it back to bring the fried rice as ordered. Also in response to their offer for replacing my dish I lost my appetite after having a piece of beef in my curry. Also like I mentioned earlier, I SPECIFIED TO THE SERVER I DON’T EAT MEAT. So they were definitely not attentive.
Also what I found appalling is that the server that first came to me denied it was beef and said it was chicken where as the meat was clearly red and it was beef not chicken. I didn’t appreciate the lying. I was very polite with the staff so I don’t see any reason why they had to lie to me when I showed it to them.
Note to the restaurant: It is a serious matter to most people who do not eat meat finding meat in their food. So please don’t take such requests lightly. It was very depressing for me personally to have consumed something accidentally that had beef in it. So please please be careful about this if anyone comes to your restaurant and tells you they...
Read moreThis week, I had the pleasure of dining at what I can confidently say is the best Thai restaurant in Zurich ❤️ With its fabulous food and fantastic presentation, each dish served was a masterpiece that tantalized the taste buds and delighted the senses. 🙌
From the moment I stepped in, the super funny and friendly staff made me feel welcome, adding a personal touch to the dining experience that was both warm and memorable. It's not just the food that's amazing here; the drinks menu was equally impressive, featuring a selection of beverages that perfectly complement the spicy, sour, sweet, and savory flavors of Thai cuisine. 🌸
But let me tell you about the star of the show: the coconut soup. It was, simply put, to die for. Rich, creamy, and bursting with flavor, it was a comforting hug in a bowl, perfectly embodying the essence of Thai cooking. It's a dish that I'll be dreaming about for days to come. 🥥
In conclusion, if you're in Zurich and have a craving for authentic Thai cuisine, look no further. This restaurant is a culinary oasis that promises an unforgettable...
Read moreI have traveled to Thailand and can say this is definitely not authentic and has been adapted for what they think are local tastes. Ordered 2 dishes that were meant to be their most spicy and found both to be very mild (and I’m usually quite sensitive to truly spicy food). All dishes we ordered were not balanced and way too sweet. Service seemed friendly but after we had ordered a lot of food and a bottle of wine, they literally refused to bring us any tap water and said we had to order a bottle for CHF 7+. Seemed like a money making scam really as we had already spent over CHF 130 for 2 people. Suggest they be more accommodating as no other restaurant in my 2 weeks in Switzerland had an issue with bringing us tap water after considerable spending on...
