Tadka Indian Restaurant — Restaurant in Zurich

I recently had the pleasure of dining at Tadka Restaurant with my family. I must say, it is one of the finest Indian restaurants in Zurich. The decor in the restaurant is so beautiful, calm and very traditional to India. The lighting is warm and welcoming and compliments the decor, and the music played is just the right volume and quite relaxing. The seating and tables are very comfortable. They also have Terraza outside in the summer time it's so beautiful. The menus are phenomenally written and look + feel quite nice, have a great selection of different Indian foods including vegetarian options for starters, sides and meals, The staff are absolutely great and super accomodating and friendly, they speak both english and german and you can inform them if you have any allergies

We ordered Chicken Jalfrezi, Punjabi Chana Masala, and Daal Tadka. The chicken was tender and succulent, and the flavors were simply exquisite. The Chana Masala and Daal Tadka were equally delicious and authentic. As I said the food there is absolutely fantastic and the chefs do a really great job making the most flavourful dishes you can get in the entire Kanton. You get a good portion that leaves you very satisfied and afterwards they offer a variety of desserts including homemade lassi and kulfi and ice cream. It's hardly 4 minutes walk from the zurich bahnof . It's easily accessible.

Adding some pics to show you and other how regularly we ordered from you and yesterday everything was PATHETIC which push us to post the review so that you can fix it ASAP!

Multiple times we referred our colleagues to visit your restaurant to visit when food was good so why not when it has gone worse from last couple of times. But looking at your responses to all your customers seems like your are no longer into customer service!!

No wonder everyone mentioned a RUDE word in reviews!!!

Horrible Food with change of Cook/Chef

We have been visiting this hotel from last 24 months as we stay in Zurich itself and we used to love the food here. However now it feels bad to write a bad review for this place as their old great chef has changed and they now serve pathetic and tasteless food. Just wanted to let all my Indian family out there that if you are craving for your home country food please DO NOT VISIT this place as you will surely be disappointed.

It's the worst restaurant . They have no respect for Indians. They originate from India but there is no respect for Indians visitors . Indians not advisable to visit this place .The guy in the restaurant is a rude fellow and doesn't have the courtesy to talk to the customer .

This is my reply to your message. Yes it is fair and no regrets that I have given you a negative review . Because after your arrogant behaviour we still called you back at 9 PM to book a table for us ...but as usual you were again harsh and an arrogant guys and just dumped the phone that you could not take the reservation even one hour later . I would definitely not recommend any Indian traveler to Zurich to visit your restaurant. Because we as Indians before we book a hotel for stay as a practice we check the best Indian restaurants in the city and then confirm our stay . As we can get our Indian food at ease . So a frequent Indian Traveller we deserve some respect as we look forward to meet an Indian community away from home . So no...
