Learn moreThe people at the front desk have a very bad attitude. I happened to be passing by, and I saw Google Maps saying that this is a tourist attraction. The door of the building opened automatically, so I walked in. Then the lady at the front desk immediately said that there was still four minutes to close the door and asked me to show my passport because it is a police desk! I said then I won’t go inside and will leave now, but she was just SO rude to keep asking for my passport and kept saying it will close in four minutes!! I never thought I could be treated so rudely just by walking in a gate that opens automatically! And if I need to show the passport just because I walked in the first door, there should be a sign outside the door! Also, I believe normal people won’t bother to bring a passport just to hang out on the street for two hours, and if she asks for an ID, I can definitely provide it to her right away, even if I just walk by! ! Besides, their is a sign outside the gate, saying that it opens till 19:00!! Very unpleasant 30-second experience that destroyed my rest...
Read moreThe lady at the reception was disgusting and yelling at us. We couldn’t see the letter at the door as someone was standing in front of it and walked in. I wanted to show my friends from Australia around but the lady at the reception was very rude to us. She yelled in swissgerman on us, as I am a Swiss citizen and wanted to explain my friends in English that it is closed due to the Streetparade (doesn’t make sense at all as the Streetparade starts only on Saturday and we wanted to enter on Friday 1pm) and we can’t see it, she continues to be rude and yelling at us for no reason. This is not how she should talk to citizens and visitors. I am paying her salary with my taxes, she is in the public sector and shouldn’t yell at visitors for no reason. It’s fine to inform us that it us closed and we would have left. I hope this woman at the reception isn’t going to work for long there as is disgrace for our City!!! Shame on you! If you don’t like your...
Read moreGiacometti Halle was a revelation and it stimulated an exalted feeling in your mind with its vibrant bold colors.
Locals call it Bluemlihalle, the hall of little flowers, as the entire murals is an assimilation of countless ornamental flowers.
The hall is located inside the state police building and there are no external signs that helps you easily identify the place. However the location on your google map takes you to the exact location. Once you are at the entrance you will have to provide your ID proof for getting inside the building.
The hall was not at all crowded when we visited and gave us ample time to enjoy the floral murals on the vaulted ceilings...
