Emperor Palace Hot Pot — Restaurant in Da'an District

It was a surprise by my friend, I have been many spicy hot pot, but this is damn good and really tasty, I did not feel the pandemic itself, because it's was neatly executed and well planned by the restaurant management. Orders are by I pads, the beautiful taiwan gals in the traditional dresses come and explain the difference combo sets in the beginning, I just admired them but could not understand as it was in Chinese hehe lol 😜 Another sever came with different sauces and served with (chilli, ginger, garlic and spring onions) set included a sea food, beef and pork combo, with veggies and tofu, my friend liked the DUCK BLOOD. The beef and pork were very tender, but in taiwan its common to get good meat in hot pot restaurants

The spicy soup in the hot pot was the best 👌and most worthy of everything.

Drinks- 3 drinks, choose 1, lemon tea, oolong tea and Calpis water.

Dessert- guess what, it was HAEGEN DAAS, flavours we chose mango and raspberry, choco hazelnut

The hot pot was around 2100 $NTD, I know it's bit expensive, but really worth a shot

Over all an excellent combo and the best spicy hot pot I have very tasted, really recommend everyone who is love with hot pot

My hotpot experience at "問鼎 ‧ 皇上吉祥 麻辣養生鍋 忠孝店" was a perfect 5/5!

The soup was rich in flavor with just the right balance of spices, leaving me completely satisfied. Every ingredient I chose for the pot—meat, fish, mushrooms, and vegetables—was fresh and absolutely delicious.

The dipping sauce station was another highlight, with over 20 condiments to mix and create your own custom sauce. I recommend checking out YouTube or articles online beforehand for tips on making the perfect blend!

Rice pairs surprisingly well with the hotpot, and the unlimited refills made the experience even better. To top it off, there’s an all-you-can-eat Häagen-Dazs ice cream station, which added a touch of luxury to the meal.

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. When I asked to change my order, there was a language barrier, but they patiently used a translation app to communicate with me. Their willingness to go the extra mile and provide thoughtful service left a lasting impression.

This is a fantastic place to enjoy delicious hotpot and excellent hospitality. I highly recommend it to anyone...

This was our second time here. The service and food were amazing during both visits. The staff are very attentive and notice small details. For instance, my wife noticed a small bug in one of our vegetable baskets and before we said anything one of their staff asked if anything was wrong. He then quickly took away the basket and then apologized for the bug. He gave us a new basket of veggies and two pitchers of free flow complementary drinks. The fact that the staff was so proactive made the experience even better.
