Onni韓食堂 — Restaurant in Da'an District

A Korean restaurant just fine. I can only recalled the bad smell as soon as I get into the restaurant and it almost made me walk right away. But we still sat for it’s cheap price and the kindness you can see from the elder waiter or owner. To our surprise it’s food were actually not bad given the first image it gave me, though you can still pick some problem in the pickles like frozen for too much while or so. Their pot and rice were nice enough with big portion. And they also provide barley tea without sugar but with plastic straw. The food is okay. The environment is also just okay, not clean. My main concern was that the service was extremely slow and out of order. It seems like the store is run by an elderly couple who are also the servers. I waited a long time to be asked for my order and they even forgot. Other people were served before me. They even accidentally gave me side dishes and then later told me in a rude way that they usually charge for that since it did not come with my order. I understand that it may be difficult for an elderly couple to manage a store alone, but it’s a business. Hire some staff? Don’t give me attitude for...

Korean food isn’t usually my favorite thing but this place really tasty. The couple that run the restaurant are lovely! They were so friendly and kind to my little daughter. The lady prepares everything herself and dishes come out one by one as they’re ready. We waited awhile for our 3 dishes but everything was hot and fresh. Great price and potions.
