Wonderful ambience and great staff service.
The Cardamom Turkish coffee and the beef stew rice bill was NTD517. The Turkish baklava came with a Turkish black tea bill was NTD352.
The Turkish baklava was very good and not too sweet. The (very good) tea that came with it was thoughtful, as it helped to clear the sweetness.
The Turkish coffee ingredients and tools were authentic BUT the making was adjusted to adapt to local preference. The ratio was more like a cappuccino than an espresso sized, and the boiling was reduced to one time only. This resulted to a rather thin coffee as opposed to the intense Turkish coffee flavour.
HOWEVER, you can tell the Barista that you want an authentic Turkish coffee and she will make it just as the one in Turkey. Just remember to voice out when you order.
The staff was very customer oriented. I voiced out my disappointment of the Turkish coffee, they not only explained the local preference rationale, but also offered to make another cup (the intense one), and it was a delightful experience.

Read moreAlthough located on Yongkang street, it's a bit away from the crowded areas, near a quiet neighborhood. Comfortable ambience with friendly and helpful staff. If you order one of the hot Turkish Coffee, they'll invite you to see the brewing process.
We're unsure what to choose for the dessert, so we ordered the set. I personally found the baklava extremely sweet but more pistachio. Kunefe and katmer made with clotted cream so the taste were milky and buttery but I like it mixed with a little bit of ice cream. The kadayif is similar to baklava but wrapped in fried thin noodles and less pistachio—sweet but not as overwhelming as the baklava. If I visit again, I'd order either the kadayif or the kunefe 😆
I also tried my sister's Cardamom Turkish Coffee, it's painfully bitter for me. My Turkish Latte saved my sense of taste 😃 But she showed me the fine sediment in her coffee, highlighting the high quality of its powder.
PS! The coffee comes with a few snacks to eat with, 2 types of nuts and a piece of turkish delight. You'll also be provided with a bottle of cold...
Read moreMy friend and I were so excited to try this place--we made a special stop on a day trip from Taichung.
The combo dessert tray was excellent. We especially liked the kunafa (almost like brie inside), the baklava, and the katmer. The small piece of Turkish delight was also quite nice. The katmer was probably the best. The tea was fine. We got the beef stew, which was rather tasty but should be served in a bowl instead of a plate because it got cool very fast. The cheese borek was honestly a bit dry and needed either more sauce or more filling, or both. Unfortunately, I am unable to recommend the coffees. I got the mastic coffee and frankly could not even drink more than 2 sips. The aromatics were so off-putting. It reminded me of incense and chemicals. My friend got the Ottoman coffee. It was better but we honestly still didn't like it. Maybe this means that I don't like Turkish coffee? I'd still probably be willing to try it again, but maybe at a different place. I'll come back for the...
