This bistro used to be Koma Sake Bistro,but it changed its name so I asked on FB if the menu was the same and they said"yes". The menu offerings on the menu were the same,but not executed the same as before when they had the female chef. The food was not the same and the new changes are TERRIBLE, we didn't finish any of the dishes we ordered. On the menu, the fish option we chose was a miso flounder and the fish WASN'T FLOUNDER. The fish they served us was Black Cod,which is a different fish. I was a professional chef ror 23 years and they tried to pass off one fish for another as if people wouldn't know. Well I know. The fried chicken( Karrage), was not battered at all, only seasoned. Although it was tender,it wasn't what we were expecting. The Oden was different from before and the pieces were store bought and the kind you put in hot pot. The only things there were any good were the Oden broth and the beer. Everything was not worth the visit. The bright lighting was terrible!! I enjoyed the low lighting of Koma. However,the large space with window views now is excellent. But the food was terrible! I'm glad I decided to try the food before we thought about ordering sake. In true Japanese Sake Bistro fashion,YOUR FOOD MUST BE GOOD or there's no point in offering sake. Also,the price per guest on the back of the menu went unnoticed by us as it should have been printed on the front with everything else and we were only told it in the middle of our meal. And after tasting the first few dishes,there was no way that I would have wanted to order any more food to increase our check and I told the staff about it all,so they let us pay our bill as is. 之前週末和三位老友約在台北的 獨樂 DoSake Bistro,這間主打清酒搭餐的小酒館,早就放在我的口袋名單裡許久。終於有機會坐下來,好好喝一輪清酒、配幾道精緻料理,結果不只酒讓人陶醉,連餐點也讓人難以忘懷。
氛圍與座位:
獨樂的空間不大,整體偏向日式簡約風格,木質裝潢、昏黃燈光營造出很舒服的用餐氛圍。座位數量不多,建議一定要預約,否則臨時想進來幾乎不可能。這晚我們被安排在靠牆的四人座,聊天、喝酒都很自在,環境安靜,很適合深夜談心或細品酒香。
清酒體驗為主角:
這次消費的重點放在 清酒品飲,我們幾乎橫掃了酒單上大半款式。店員非常專業,會根據每個人的口味、偏好推薦不同類型的清酒,從果香型、生酒、熟成酒到氣泡酒都有涵蓋。特別是他們招待了許多沒喝過的組合,隨機提供三種風味各異的清酒,完全是驚喜體驗,甚至還猜中了一款熟成型的清酒,讓人超有成就感。
其中一支純米吟釀,清爽乾淨,適合開場;另一支偏辛口,尾韻帶點米香,特別適合配我們點的牛排。喝到後半段大家都微醺,討論起酒體的層次變化,這種深入交流的感覺,只有在「專門為酒而設計的餐廳」才有。
餐點印象深刻:
雖然酒是主角,但他們的料理完全不輸。最讓我驚艷的兩道,是: • 炭烤熟成牛排:熟度掌握得極好,外脆內嫩,帶著肉本身的油脂香氣。搭配一款微辛的清酒,酒精感中和了油脂,口感層次更上一層樓。 • 自製一夜干(鯖魚):鹽味收得剛好,魚肉細緻帶油脂香,表皮烤得微焦卻不過乾。這道配上一支氣泡清酒,鹹香與清爽交錯,簡直是神來之筆。
我們另外也點了幾道小食如柚香大根、酒粕味噌豆腐,作為酒間的過場,也非常合拍。
價格與整體感受:
四人當晚總共消費約 $10,000 元,其中清酒佔了大宗,約佔六成。以清酒品質與搭餐水準來看,我認為物有所值,甚至值得再訪。這不是那種吃飽喝醉的餐廳,而是適合「細細品味、慢慢喝」的地方。
