Fu Jen Crispy Sparerib Noodle Soup — Restaurant in Datong District

I went here at 12nn sharp and as expected, there was a hustle and bustle for lunch period. I ended up doing take out and made sure they knew my order because I don’t understand chinese and they were very accommodating for it despite the language barrier. There’s a yellow form you have to fill for take out.

I ordered the rib soup and beef briskett rice which was too much for one person.

If you’re filipino, the beef briskett rice tastes almost like Beef Mechado without the tomato sauce. The beef was very tender and good with rice.

A place that’s frequented by locals and located conveniently near the hotel I was staying. I visited twice - the first time round, the 滷肉飯 was amazing both in portion and taste, I dare say the best bowl I had during my trip to Taipei. They were less generous the second time round.
