恩惠泰式小館 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

Nasty place matched with an equally nasty attitude. This restaurant is basically a hole in the wall in the worst way. Spiderwebs covered fans and oily tabletops. There’s no exhaust hood in the kitchen so the oil splashes everywhere and the walls are black. Not a good choice if you value sanitation or comfort. The owner also REFUSED to turn on the AC in Kaohsiung’s steamy hot September when it’s 30 degrees in AFTER I SPECIALLY requested to have the AC turned on BEFORE ordering(which she promised ) so I was forced to eat in discomfort all sweaty and gross. Good Thai food restaurant run by a lovely Thai lady. In contrast to most Thai restaurants in Kaohsiung, the dishes are more affordably priced. The menu and taste is very taiwanized, although some of the dishes taste almost like in Thailand. Especially the pad thai (泰式炒河粉) brings back Thailand memories. Som tam (涼拌木瓜絲) and tom yam goong (綜合酸辣湯) are pretty good, but miss the punch of real Thai cuisine. #泰式炒河粉➡️ 這盤還蠻大份的如果兩個人還要點別的點這盤就不用其他主菜了😂是細細滑滑的河粉跟豆芽菜、蛋炒在一起的，而且竟然還有肉跟兩隻蝦呢👍👍旁邊還有檸檬可以擠喔！吃起來味道是不會辣有點酸酸甜甜的感覺，只是沒有在佳欣吃到的好吃，這裡的比較油，吃起來比較多台式熱炒的油耗味就是了😅😅不過也是蠻香的啦 #椰奶咖哩雞 ➡️這盤老闆說是用自己的特製咖哩做的，有綠咖哩紅咖哩等味道，原本還期待了一下，沒想到....份量少都是雞肉片而且又好油...雖然有黃咖哩跟椰奶的味道但還是頗失望... #涼拌木瓜絲 ➡️這盤就相對大方很多了！滿滿的一盤耶😂只是切忌！不要聞它會有種很怪的味道🤑🤑直接吃就好而且還不錯吃喔！有香菜蝦米等調味，雖然醬汁有點甜甜稠稠的但蠻開胃的喔😋 #清滷牛肉...
