Tourists from the Seattle area here. We stumbled into this place because we were staying at a hotel next door, and were thankful for the authentic, reasonably-priced cuisine and top-notch service. Business was slow when we popped in, and the owners/staff/chef were cheerful and informative in English, going above and beyond to share stories, get to know us, and thoroughly educate us about each dish. Spicy heat can be designated on a scale of 1 to 3 - Order 1 for good necessary flavor, and 2 for some nice heat that will please most westerners. The food at Curry Express is fresh and original to Indian cuisine. You can order any dish to the spicy (hot) level you desire. I found the butter chicken to be the best I've ever had. We tried the fried fish, which was my wife's favorite. All in all, Curry Express has the best Indian cuisine out of the 3 different Indian restaurants in the area. Great value for the price.
