Very nice moachi with filling, they have a lot of combinations, but I ate the mango one and it wasn’t too sweet. Not very friendly staff, even if I spoke in mandarin with them. Not easy to find the place, cause is in the middle of a gallery. If you want a specific filling call first to make a reservation before going, when I went there the strawberry one was already sold out and it was still lunch time.

I didn't put 5stars cause I still think the mochi in Kyoto are the best in the world haha but for sure these are very very good. The owner was kind enough to explain me with my poor Chinese and the matcha mochi and mango daifuku I had were pricey (35/85$) but the size and the quality was there !

Have eaten daifuku from this shop 7 years ago and it's still the absolute best today. Not too sweet and very well balanced with the sweetness of the fruits contained within. As a reference, I have travelled to Japan recently and found that the Japanese daifuku are slightly too sweet in general

I brought 2 boxes of 6 back home with a flight time of about 5 hours. The mochi skin have melted slightly but the flavour is still amazing (a reference for non locals who plan to buy some home)

Shopkeeper is extremely nice

My recommendations are: Strawberry series when it's in season Mango daifuku Peach...

This is a hidden jem. Such lovely staff so welcoming and friendly. You can tell they put a lot of care into their products. Not only do they look delicious they are delicious and the price is definitely reasonable. I ordered the Strawberry Mochi. One Matcha and one Red Bean. Both are delicious and just the right amount of sweetness. They really left a nice impression. I will definitely introduce this cute shop to all my friends....
