Sayang南洋茶室 — Restaurant in Kaohsiung

This is the second time I dine in here. The food always surprises me and can cure some part of my Indonesian foods cravings (high-five neighbor!) This time I ordered chicken curry with turmeric rice and beef rendang. The chicken curry 10/10. Well, for me it needs a little bit more spicy but understand it needs to balance for the non spicy eater. But overall was awesome. The beef rendang was very tender and flavorful but I still prefer the chicken curry. Hope they will add more street hawker foods like char kwee tiaw or nasi lemak :) or did i miss those on the menu? Exploring Kaohsiung and found this place accidentally due parking nearby there, and find myself an opportunity to stop by.

Tried satay & fried noodle here: fried noodle is tasty, portion is a bit disapointing for 250ntd though. Satay is even surprising, taste is just decent (probably not my preference), though portion is again disapointing (200ntd for 5). Honest review: too pricey for its portion (espec. if its price isn't distinguished for dine-in and take-out).

Quite literally THE best Malaysian and curry I’ve had. Doesn’t have lots of choices on the menu but MY GOD you really don’t need much. The restaurant was very nice as well to make us some dairy vegetarian curry and fried noodles. Utterly delish, with more than reasonable price.
