Tasty — Restaurant in Keelung

I've always been skeptical about restaurants with high number of reviews because almost 100% of the time they will offer something free if you give them a 5 star review. This applies to this Tasty outlet.

This is my 4th Tasty outlet and by far the worst i've been too. Or maybe their standards have dropped since my last visit was before covid-19.

The dishes no longer taste WOW and even my favorite bread appetiser has lost its taste. I used to devour the dish despite the creaminess, and will always order another portion of bread. but this one was so bad we barely finished.. the garlic taste was way too overpowering.

My main was steak which was supposed to be medium rare but came almost medium well-well done and super tough. The other mains were fine but like i said, no WOW factor anymore..

Dessert was not the best either. Its good that they tried to make it less sweet but some things like the eclair is meant to be sweet.. the eclair pastry was already tasteless and yet the cream above was so mild, it doesnt give a sweet finish to the meal.

So disappointed in this as Tasty is always my go-to everytime im in Taiwan.. i'll maybe go back to try Taipei's outlet one last time to see if its just this particular...

The food was poor quality. The steak was bland in taste. It was also tough to cut. The sauce didn't add much taste either. The duck didn't taste bad, but it was also extremely difficult to cut. The salad, appetizer, soup, and dessert were average or below average. The service had a bad attitude. They spoke in a rude manner. I do not think that the food was worth the price. I will definitely never go back. I would also not recommend anyone go. Save your money and go...

Had high hopes based on reviews but the steak was not good. Very tough and the other dishes were very mediocre. The chicken salad had brown lettuce. The price was also expensive. The beef Wellington was more tender but overall was not a good experience. Save your money and go eat the tasty items at the night market and skip...
