although this looks like a croissant, it was crunchy instead of flaky, and dense instead of layered. the horns at each end had a satisfying baked crunch like a biscuit/cracker, and the middle was a thick but soft bread, still tasting pretty fresh. i got the 菠蘿 one, and the top was very crumbly and slightly sweet. there was also a hint of a butteriness, and it was a bit oily, but not too much. ultimately, it was a really unique and delicious snack and i’d love to try other flavours ! the maple danish was incredibly soft and well baked, pulling apart in the fluffiest way. there was a faint maple flavour, and it was slightly sticky on top.
