Pallet Bistro is a surprise as far as flavor and quality. Would highly recommend the Parmesan risotto with seafood marinara and truffle fries as an appetizer. Mom got the cuttlefish Caesar. It’s not a savory Caesar, more of an Asian style sweet dressing. For a tourist area, it’s tasty and clean. Also dog friendly! I ordered macaroni chicken with baked cheese along with an oat latte. The serving was big and more than enough. Love they have a bilingual menu, and the staff spoke English as well.

The restaurant space was adequate, given how busy Tamsui can get on the weekend and holidays. Even so, the service was still top-notch. I'm happy this place is available in case I get a hankering.

I recommend getting a seat by the window as it overlooks the riverside. You'd also get ample natural light if you like...
