Re-open of restaurants for dine-in after 2 1/2 months lock down in Taipei, we chose Kappou for family gathering in this restaurant as it’s newly set up before lock down due to COVID-19 pandemic. Unfortunately, it’s a totally disappointing experience. The food has nothing impressive with 10 courses. The dining ambient environment was too noisy even though we sit in a private room that connects with another private room. You could hear what the next room shouting like you were sitting in the big restaurant. The food quality is so so and the quantity is not enough to feel satisfied. Furthermore, the fund of membership for shabushabu couldn’t be used for the Kappou. Let us feel they are two different restaurants under one roof. You may go for shabushabu, but not...

Delicious, fresh food with a lot of quantity.It is quite expensive, but there are many coupons, like a 1000NT or 200NT off. You can only use coupons up to half price of the food. A great place to meet people or come with business people as there are privacy, you will be in a room. The service is fantastic and I suggest you should make a reservation. Some of the beef are so fresh that you only need to heat it in the hot pot for six seconds!
