K Hotel Taipei Nanjing — Hotel in Taipei

I stayed for 4 nights with my mum who is over 75 years old. We returned to our room after early dinner. WIFI and TV were not working except for the first night. My mum would like to watch TV but it was not working. TV, I am not talking about YouTube coz WIFI was not working already. We could not watch even the most basic local TV channels coz these channels were to be connected by internet. But the hotel internet connection definitely had some problems. We called the staff who were all passive and said they would pass our problems to the concerned. Often the internet connection would resume for some time but problems would occur again and again. On the last night I got so frustrated and asked the staff to solve the problems. They suggested us to change to another room at 22:30 while we were going to check out the following day. When they heard that we did not want to change our room, they just left our room without even any explanations or apology. It is fortunate that I was not on a business trip that required stable internet connection in the room. Amazing location, walkable distance to two different mrt locations (green and brown line). The hotel is super modern looking. Very interesting room layout with just a roll up curtain separating the bathroom from our sleeping area (fine for my boyfriend and I, but maybe a bit odd if you’re rooming with friends). Front desk staff and the employees servicing the rooms are all very courteous and helpful. Breakfast service goes from 6a-10a with lots to choose from. One thing that could be improved is stocking our toilet paper. Not sure if it’s just us, but we started out with 2 rolls, and it hasn’t been replenished since. We’ve been here for a week and i’ve had to go down twice already to the front desk to ask for more tp, and everytime they only give me one roll. Our total stay will be close to two weeks, so I think they can afford to give us more than one roll at a time? Aside from that, room servicing is great (very clean towels, bedsheets, bathroom area). The location is very convenient, right by the Nanjing Fuxing MRT station, and walkable to various food options. The employees were courteous, though a few were less warm (that's ok though). The rooms are very spacious and comfortable, though my only complaint is that the room often times felt unclean. It feels like housekeeping only comes in to take out the trash and make the bed, without cleaning the room a little. We stayed for over a week and the toilet wasn't cleaned, there was a small piece of trash on the floor that they left without cleaning, etc. Also, the bodywash/shampoo/conditioner was empty from the beginning of our stay, and it wasn't until we flagged down housekeeping about it 3 days later, that it eventually got refilled.
