We’re Honestly a little disappointed. Perhaps we had to high of an expectation from the reviews. The eggs felt like powder mixture, not from fresh eggs. The meats were mediocre, much like the quality of a regular Taiwanese breakfast shops with better presentations. Considering the price point, the portions were small (even with Taiwanese standards). The staff was friendly and attentive, but the service was quite slow. The vibe and decor was nice though. All in all, not the kind of western brunch place I was expecting. * (Reply to the owners insulting comments below). I gave them 3 stars based on our honest feelings after the dining experience, but the insulting reply earned them a solid ZERO star, if Google would make it an option. I’ve done 150 Google reviews and rarely give fewer than 3 stars. If I do not give my honest opinion based on my true experiences, what’s the purpose of doing Google Reviews at all? Aren’t we all trying to help out each other by giving our honest individual opinions? Should I lie about my experiences just to make the management happy? No, I’d be insulted...

Located near Taipei Arena, “Lujing Brunch” is a brunch specialty restaurant that not only emphasizes the aesthetic presentation of its dishes but also prioritizes the freshness of ingredients and layers of flavors. The dining environment is cozy, allowing customers to relax and enjoy a hearty brunch.
Today, I ordered the Crispy Chicken Thigh with Sichuan Peppercorn Sauce. The chicken thigh was fried to perfection—crispy on the outside and tender on the inside. When cut open, the meat remained juicy and succulent. The unique Sichuan peppercorn sauce added an aromatic and mildly spicy kick to the dish, making it unforgettable. It’s a must-order every time I visit. The salad featured some sliced vegetables such as cucumbers, baby corn, and carrots. These small details not only enhanced the texture but also enriched the overall flavor.
The French toast is undoubtedly one of the highlights of the platter, exuding a delicate hand-made quality. The outer layer was pan-fried to give a light char and an alluring golden color. Upon cutting into it, the interior remained soft and moist, perfectly preserving the fluffy texture of the bread. A light dusting of fine sugar on the toast added just the right amount of sweetness without being overwhelming. The texture strikes a perfect balance—not too moist to affect the taste, nor too dry to lose its rich flavor. Every bite combines the aroma of eggs with the soft texture of the bread, making it irresistible.
The handmade beef patty in the burger platter was cooked to perfection, locking in the rich juices inside. Paired with a slightly tangy tomato sauce, the flavor of the beef was enhanced, giving it a more complex profile. Each bite allowed me to savor the intricate fibers of the beef, with a firm yet tender texture.
Not to be overlooked, the dessert—panna cotta—was an exquisite finishing touch. Made with pure milk and no added water, the panna cotta was smooth and creamy, melting in the mouth instantly. It had a rich and long-lasting milky aroma that left me wanting more!
Overall, the dishes at “Lujing Brunch,” from the main courses to the side dishes, are filled with thoughtful details and creativity. Whether it’s the intricate flavor of the crispy chicken thigh, the careful preparation of the handmade beef patty, or the delightful texture of the panna cotta, you can truly sense the restaurant’s dedication to the quality of ingredients and the nuances...
Read moreSadly we were asked to share 1 small table for 3 people, although there were enough tables and I was moving 2 tables together to have a comfortable Saturday breakfast with my family. It is very uncomfortable to share 2 tiny table for 3 people! I didn't have the mood to argue. Had to go to another cafe.
I know they just want to have more customers and more money, but are we in Beijing where people have to handle so tense density? The price here is not the lowest to treat guests this way. I don't like greedy people, so we will never come again, we have different life values.
Was really sad, because the place seemed to be suitable for a Saturday breakfast for family. But not suitable in reality.
If you guys are a couple, it's nice place, but if you are having a kid and value personal space, don't waste your energy on this cafe, choose...
