This is also one of the Michelin Bib Gourmand recommended places to eat in Raohe. It was quite crowded I waited a while before I got a seat. The menu is very simple there are only 3 items in the menu: the noodles, the rice and the soup. As much as I wanted to try all 3, I had to save space for the other stuff so I decided to try only the mianxian. The preparation was very efficient as they just had to scoop it out from the pot and add the parsley and was immediately served to the table after payment. I have to say the oysters were fresh and I loved the texture of the mianxian which was quite soft. I also like the gluey texture which I thought was on point. There was also a little sourness in the thick soup which I liked a lot, not sure if it was the original taste or a little vinegar added. Would visit again next time to try the rice and the soup, saw a lot of people ordering...

Tables are small though and close together to maximize use of space. The cooking area is open and you can clearly see how it's prepared. Most of the ingredients have been prepared well in advance so your bowl of food arrives very quickly. The basic taste is pretty bland, hence the presence of vinegar and chili at your table to season it. Be careful of the vinegar, the sour and pungent taste is heavy and thick. Add a little by little and constantly taste to get your equilibrium. I am glad I tried it but this dish is not for me. A bit too gooey and meesuah is also not my favourite noodle. But do try if you haven't. You never know, maybe this is something you have been craving for all...

Overall, the noodles weren’t even that good. It was really watery and flavorless. There was a sign that said they’ve been in business for 100 years. Don’t know how that’s possible…
There’s also a foul smell that we couldn’t pinpoint. A mix of ammonia and pee. The smell had a stronger “flavor” than...
