Small range of fish, but a pretty decent amount of options on the menu. We visited during lunchtime on a weekday, and were surprised to find the restaurant half-empty. Wait time = zero—which was great! Most plates are NT$40, unless otherwise indicated.
Considering the amount of customers present at the time, the restaurant seemed to have only served sushi that had been ordered via the screen in order to save cost and preserve ingredient freshness. It became a bit confusing after awhile, as customers were all seated in the same area, and all the ordered plates were transported on the same belt and marked with identical "customer order" stands. (Compared to the other Japanese sushi train that famously serves sushi via two separate belts). The reminder on the screen was unhelpful at times, as it would go off at the same time as other customers'.
The screen to order was easy to operate and was available in other languages, but would buzz loudly every time you would press it.
Had to take one star off because the udon and dessert were really disappointing and looked nothing like those on the menu. Also, a staff decided not to serve our second dobinmushi because she saw one on our table and, in her words, "it did not occur to her that that was our first order". I would still recommend and visit this place...
Read moreWe've been here a few times and it's always been okay, but had a total disaster today. Most of the sushi we ordered was literally falling apart when it arrived (fish lying on the dish next to rice).
I ordered tuna with avocado and it was pretty different from the photo to say the least - avocado was a small brown splodge on top of the fish. I sent it back and the replacement was exactly the same avocado, rearranged slightly.
To top it all off, one of the pieces of sushi had bones in it.......... I mean, I've put my health at risk eating a lot of cheap sushi in my time, but this is the first time I've seen bones in sushi.
On the bright side, their 角high are pretty strong, and very cheap! Maybe better for cheap drinks...
Read moreUpdate 23 Apr 2025 I came back again since I'm nearby. Food quality has improved a bit though the presentation remains sloppy for some sushi. We ordered 10 different sushis and only 2 plates arrived. The missing 8 plates were 'hijacked' before it came to us. This system is flawed as we ended up ordering again. Today's disappointment was in the dessert - moshi balls were supposed to soft and chewy but it tasted hard like it's been frozen too long.
Staff are attentive but food is very average. Presentation of food is sloppy and the coffee jelly was a huge disappointment. The jelly was watery and not set at all... It was literally like a glob. Feedback to staff and she was very responsive to refund the cost of the...
