Komeda‘s Coffee Taipei Bade — Restaurant in Songshan District

Great cafe with good food and friendly staff! We were seated quickly and our host provided us English menus which we very much appreciated.

We ordered the pork cutlet sandwich and the sweet bun with ice cream topping. The sandwich was surprisingly big and one of our most favorite things to eat in Taiwan! The bun was soft, vegetables inside were crisp, and the cutlet was crunchy, and flavorful. Our dessert was a wonderfully warmed sweet bread, with plenty of cold ice cream on top, that wasn’t too sweet.

Great place to meet and chat over some simple meals and desserts. Menu is not fancy but their coffee is good with a lot of selections. Don’t expect latte or espresso here though as everything is Japanese style. Usually come for the morning special with coffee and toast for only NTD100.
