蔬醒 Vege Burger植物肉漢堡/蔬食炸物專門店 — Restaurant in Songshan District

Service friendly & helpful, in English too. Had the C combo for NT$155; choosing Korean hot sauce vegan burger, chips (potato fries), & green tea with ice. Burger tasted good, spicy hotness of sauce indicated as 🌶️🌶️ on menu, but I would class it as only 🌶️; also vegan chicken patty could have been bigger. Chips were good: crisp, crunchy & coated in freshly ground black pepper; also comes with standard ketchup. Green tea also good. For eating in, place has 4 stools at a bar table next to ordering point. Place seems to be a bit open to outside (not air tight), so they don't use air-con, only a small fan so could be a bit warm eating in in summer, but not too bad when I was there end of June with 34°C (93°F) outside. I had the Kala Vegan Leg Burger and the Plant Based Popcorn Chicken.

The Kala Vegan had a tofu/bean curd skin fried and mushroom-like filling (I think trying to imitate pork?). I'm personally not too much of a fan of it but I can see its appeal.

The Plant Based Popcorn Chicken on the other hand I was a major fan of. I ended up ordering 3 more packets to eat later.

As I sat down I was glad for the air conditioning as it was a hot day.

I can only hope for this franchise to spread across the globe, because I had to travel a bit far away to find this store. I mainly found out about this store thanks to visiting...

I always see many people inside eating at all open hours, so we decided to stop by after the market and give it a try. We ordered two sandwiches to go at the window which was very convenient, but dine in is also available. My boyfriend was hesitant to try a plant based sandwich, but he ended up loving his Plant Based Pork with Nut Sauce sandwich. I ordered the Plant Based Chicken with Korean sauce sandwich and I really enjoyed it. We will definitely come many more times, as the food is both affordable...
