Swensen's — Restaurant in Songshan District

Passed by serveral times, always wanted to come here. So... here I come to this well famed restaurant. I've ordered a beef sandwich, a fish and chips, a pork ribs and a chocolate sundae with pancakes. Let's talk about the atmosphere the restaurant, this place feels like the 80s, and also are the decorations and furniture. Service is quite nice actually. But for the food...... I gave a star to the beef sandwich (compare to the others), it's creamy and the beef is juicy. But the fish and chips and pork ribs are total disappointment. The fish feel like something that came out straight from the freezer. It tastes dry and.... no comment. The pork ribs was much of a disappointment. The pork itself is utterly dry and hard. It supposedly to be soft and juicy, is it not? Hence, I asked the restaurant crew if this was microwaved. They only replied whether I wanted a replacement. But I told them to take it away. I could barely eat the food. Then to the dessert. The chocolate sundae with pancakes are marvelous. It was a true and sparkle of the day, I give it another star. So that's three stars, the sandwich, the dessert and...

Today, I finally went to Taipei Pilgrimage American-style retro restaurant. The restaurant is a building located in the best part of Taipei. The restaurant is located on the 7th floor. You can see the retro signboard directly from the elevator, and the aisle is also very sentimental.

Ordered a steak, chili burger and a chocolate sundae today. The hamburger is juicy and delicious, and the meat is very full. It is delicious with French fries and a little salad! The steak is medium rare, but unfortunately the overall doneness is not very average, and the corn is also rotten.
