Last day in Taichung, and I made sure to visit 'Ri Zheng' again — my second time here. It was quite busy on a Saturday morning, with a steady flow of customers coming and going. With such high traffic, I can imagine it’s a challenge for the staff to keep the restaurant spotless, but the atmosphere remained welcoming.
Soy Milk Tofu Pudding (Original): A lovely dessert — light and comforting. The soy milk is sweet and complements the tofu pudding well, though I do wish there was a no-sugar option for those who prefer a more natural taste.
Baked Pancakes with Meat and Egg: My personal favorite! I ordered this both times I visited. Just the original flavors — baked pancake, lettuce, fried egg, and meat. Simple and satisfying.
Overall: A nice place for a local breakfast experience at a reasonable price. I’d definitely return if I’m ever back...

FOOD Xiao long bao '小笼包' were pretty good. Century egg porridge '皮蛋瘦肉粥'was wholesomely tasty '豆浆豆花' beancurd soya milk had sesame in it. Can be a hit or miss depending whether you are a fan of sesame. In this case, I prefer my sesame separate from my beancurd so that I can truly taste the beamcurd. It was decent though You tiao was 'fluff' crispy. The downside was its greasy aftertaste which I think was a result of the oil used.

詢問小姐是否可以換一個? 她回答沒辦法,都這樣! Ps我吃過很多次是酥脆口感的,是我嘴巴壞掉了? 還是當下拿在手上手感也沒了? 或是眼睛包皮了? 還是你們根本對消費者的品質是依照心情來決定?!
我說,那算了! 那我不要了,就幫我退消費作廢發票就好。 小姐說:抱歉我不會退發票(作廢發票),請你留下電話,我們明天早上有人會用好,再跟你聯絡。
然後走沒多久(約10分鐘),回家後發現一個未接來電(只響6聲),想說小姐說要早上才有人會作廢本筆交易與退錢,就沒在意。
於是直到今天5/30想起這件事~ 到現場詢問時~ 一樣的那位小姐馬上說: 你都沒有接電話,我們早就退給你了,已經退到你line pay錢包了! 我說:喔,我不知道你們有打電話給我,而且我從來沒有用line pay錢包,那我查了一下!!
於是我開啟載具是否有退掉這筆消費... 然後仍顯示日正的消費金額,也就是沒有退款!!!
然後另一個壯碩的店員就說:你不用那麼凶、那麼大聲是幹嘛?
當下我火整個就上來了!!
另一個較瘦小的男店員則冷靜的請我手機給他看看...
我也就給他看,並對另一位壯碩男說:我就沒用過line pay錢包,當下也是付現金,你們說什麼“早就已經退給你”這是怎樣? 這時,那小姐就補刀說:我確定你是用line pay...
