My experience in 公益店 is awesome without any doubt. Unfortunately, when I choose to visit 健行店, I realized that even the best restaurant brand in my mind could be extremely disappointed. I’ve been waiting for 45mins with no food, no bread, only masala tee and Lassi. When we talked to waitress and expressed our intention to leave if the dishes are not prepared, her response was like customer knows nothing about Indian food. ”Our curry will start to cook only after you place the order, that why it takes time.” She offer no chance to talk, listen no inquiry even after she knows it’s fxxked up.

I had expressed my request clear enough, we want to leave if you haven’t start to heat up the curry that entire world knows it is not possible to be freshly made at noon for a crowded restaurant.

I was almost forced to stay at the seat with my empty stomach to wait in order to make ourselves looks like idiots. 5 mins later, all the dishes showed up on my table.

WOW, CANNOT RATE THIS PLACE ENOUGH! One Sunday, we needed a last minute table for 4 adults & 1 child. Alice was attentive & an absolutely delightful hostess. We chose the 4-person menu for just 3,999NT, which included your own choice from a vast selection of kebabs and curries (I think 4 from each section?) and UNLIMITED naan bread or roti (again, your own choice from a huge list- my husband was particularly very excited about this!!!!) and they were so flexible, happy for us to try basically a little bit of everything! Also, unlimited beverages & they even gave us commentary desserts.

Highlights: sweet naan bread, tikka curry, lamb curry, tandoori and the mango lassi (which they even specially made without sugar for my three-year old son)!. The food was incredible, really authentic and the service was impeccable. We felt like VIPs!!

Although the set menu looked a bit complex at first, the staff was incredibly friendly and enthusiastic. They patiently explained every dish as it was served and reminded us that the spiciness, saltiness, sweetness, and even ice levels could all be adjusted to our preference. What made the experience even more special was a complimentary appetizer before our meal—Pani Puri, a popular Indian street snack. Such a thoughtful and delightful surprise!

🔸 Here's our overall impression of the 3-person set meal:

Soups: We ordered the tomato soup, mixed vegetable soup, and Mumbai chicken soup. Each one had a unique spice profile—flavorful, aromatic, and distinct.

Salads: All three of us had the Masala crispy veggie wafers, served with four different chutneys ranging from very spicy to not spicy at all. Each sauce had its own unique character.

Tandoor Grill: We got the Tandoori grilled fish and the spiced Tandoori chicken. Both were juicy, tender, and packed with rich, well-marinated flavors.

Curries: We chose the yellow curry with shrimp and the creamy Indian butter curry. Both were rich, layered in flavor, and clearly prepared with care.

Naan: Whether it was spinach, traditional, or butter-flavored, the naan was thick, chewy, and fragrant—perfect for scooping up curry.

Dessert: The milk rice pudding had a silky texture with a hint of graininess and spice. An uncommon but memorable dessert.

Drinks: We tried the mango lassi, sweet lassi, and masala chai. The staff even offered a small tasting portion of the chai in case we weren’t used to the spice—such thoughtful service!

Overall, this is a wonderful Indian restaurant with a great atmosphere, excellent service, and carefully prepared dishes bursting with flavor. Whether you're new to Indian cuisine or a seasoned fan, this place is absolutely worth trying. We’ll definitely be back! 👍
